Lil Heroes brings fire and EMS learning to elementary students in a fun and engaging way. Through fitness, teamwork, academic language development, and hands-on activities like CPR, first aid, and fire safety, students learn to see themselves as future helpers and leaders. Lil Heroes inspires curiosity, builds early career awareness, and strengthens foundational skills — all while keeping learning exciting and accessible.

Firin’ Up Your Future is an introductory program designed for middle school students to experience the world of Fire and EMS. Through interactive drills, physical fitness, and mentorship from firefighters and EMTs, students build confidence and discover their potential. The program introduces career opportunities in public safety while reinforcing the importance of resilience, responsibility, and service.

The Fire Rescue Academy provides high school students with hands-on training and classroom instruction in Fire and EMS. Students gain exposure to fire behavior, search and rescue, ladders, hose operations, and emergency medical response — all aligned with state and national standards. The academy prepares young people for entry into Fire/EMS pathways while building discipline, leadership, and teamwork.

Best of the Best is a countywide competition that brings together high school fire academies and cadet programs to test their skills in firefighting and emergency medical scenarios. Teams compete in physical challenges, technical drills, and simulated emergencies, all under the guidance of professional firefighters and paramedics. The event celebrates excellence, teamwork, and perseverance while showcasing the future of the fire service.

The Workforce Pathway Program prepares adults for the transition from education into careers in Fire, EMS, and public safety. Participants receive hands-on training, professional mentorship, industry-recognized certifications, and career-readiness support designed to build the skills and confidence needed to enter the workforce. Through partnerships with fire departments, EMS agencies, colleges, and community organizations, the program connects participants to education, employment, and career opportunities while developing the next generation of public safety professionals.
